Senior QA Engineer in Nesher, Israel

Zadara Storage is looking for a talented and highly motivated Senior QA Engineer to join our top notch global and dynamic engineering team.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Work as a member of the QA team – design, write and perform test cases, do exploratory testing, report and manage bugs
  • Design and execute manual and automated test scripts, document test results and revise test cases and scripts as needed
  • Taking the lead in the requirements and design phase to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Own features of the product and perform all aspects of the QA process on those features.
  • Ability to plan and work independently
  • Deploy and manage test and development cloud environments.
  • Support deployment of new features into production with zero downtime and no impact to end customers.
  • Build domain expertise in cloud storage and services and apply expertise to design new product features.
  • Adhere to agile techniques of development and testing. Utilize iterative Agile software development lifecycle
  • Continually define and refine the QA process
  • Collaborate closely with the development and support teams

Desired Skilled and Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Engineering
  • Deep understanding of the QA process and methodologies
  • Experience in testing software in a cross-platform environment (Windows, Linux, VMware, Xen)
  • Strong technical background in storage, networking, virtualization, distributed systems, and security
  • Experience / familiarity with public cloud services.
  • Previous hands-on experience with OpenStack – Advantage
  • Scripting experience, preferably in Python. – Advantage
  • High motivation to work in dynamic and innovative startup company.
  • Creative approach to problem solving, innovation and issue resolution
  • Self-motivated and self-managed with a high degree of dependability

Job Description
The position is responsible for providing pre- and post-sales support to Cloud Customers, supporting proof-of-concepts/trials/Customer purchases, operating and continuously improving our own Cloud infrastructures & offerings.

Other Specifics

  • Support production Cloud infrastructure and applications

West Coast Territory Sales Executive in Southern California or Silicon Valley
Primary responsibility is to increase revenue and market share.
Job Description
The candidate will work independently, proactively seeking opportunities to develop business targeting Service Providers, Enterprises, SaaS companies, VARs and storage partners. Expected to work closely with VP of Sales, Business Development and Cloud Operations. The position is responsible for growing Zadara Storage’s businesses in the public cloud, private cloud and on-premise enterprises. This includes the understanding of business goals and requirements, developing and executing against a quarterly business plan and quotas.
 Responsibilities
  •  To develop and manage sales relationships between Zadara and all potential customers and partners the Territory Sales Executive will need to:
    • Establish relationships with cloud and storage partners as well as customers.
    • Provide training for cloud and storage partners on Zadara products, value proposition, VPSA technologies and competing products.
    • Provide support to the cloud and storage partners for customer meetings and other end-user events.
    • Create demand for Zadara products by providing WEB trainings, cold-call sessions and direct sales support for all sales activities
    • Manage channel conflict using registration and other management tools as required.
    • Assist in developing cloud and storage business strategies to pertinent departments within Zadara.
  • Create and manage the Territory Channel Plan to include: VAR recruitment and detailed development plans for both customer and cloud traction.
  • Identify demand creation initiatives ie; customer events and cold-call sessions.
  • Establish oneself in the social eco-system of Zadara ie; Linkedin, Twitter, blogs and other means to grow the Zadara brand
  • Meet quarterly and annual revenue quota.
  • Ensure fair and equitable treatment of all employees within the company.
  • Performs related and other duties as required.
 
Requires Skills and Experience
  • Must have 5 year + experience recruiting, developing and managing VAR and customer accounts.
  • Must have extensive sales knowledge in cloud computing, storage, storage networking, backup and other related topics.
  • Must have end-user sales experience and be a HUNTER.
  • Must be fluent in Microsoft tools; PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
  • Must have very good presentation skills to varying audiences.
  • Must have strong team selling skills. Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Previous experience with startup companies a plus.
This is a full-time job on a TBD base/commission
