VMworld 2015 Wrap-Up

We just came back from VMworld US 2015, which is one of our favorite industry events, and this year was the best yet!

What makes VMworld so different for us as a vendor?

1. Technology, technology, technology: VMworld is a place for cutting edge, powerful trends – and our mix of software defined storage technology, seamless cloud mobility and as a service IT is hot right now. And for good reasons

2. It’s the people, stupid! Attendees were milling around the exhibitor booths until the very last minute. They literally had to shut down the show floor and kick people out! You’ll be hard-pressed to find this in other industry shows…

3. VMware users are technology leaders. They are interested in, and looking for ways to use state-of-the-art tools to drive efficiency. VMware users understand the value of virtualizing their servers and they are looking for ways to do similar with their storage.

4. What’s next? As the whole industry is shifting to as-a-service models. As such, there is huge interest in Storage as a Service (STaaS), as many companies are increasingly frustrated in the old model of purchasing storage boxes. We knew from Day One that we are up to something big, and the industry as a whole is now starting to steer in this direction of agility, flexibility and ease of management.
VMworld was a great event, and we too are Ready For Any!

Get a Glimpse of the Action

Check out some of the photos from our booth, (our biggest yet at VMworld), and watch our CEO, Nelson Nahum, make waves with STaaS on SIliconANGLE theCUBE, VMblog and Tech Trilogy Talks.

Making Waves with STaaS!
Dave Vellante and David Floyer of theCUBE and SilconANGLE media team chat with our CEO Nelson Nahum about the change of mind when it comes to storage as a service: no more investing in boxes, but focusing on business needs instead.

VMworld is all about storage, but we’re the only as-a-service model
Our friends from VMblog came to visit our booth to talk about how On-Premise-as-a-Service (OPaaS) is changing storage models for enterprises and Service providers alike.

Our customers don’t want to buy storage!
Triology Tech Talk took the opportunity to talk about our latest customer win, Cal Poly State University, and why they chose VPSA to replace their NetApp storage arrays and join the almost religious love our customers share for our solutions.
