Reflecting back on 2015, Zadara has accomplished a lot. We’ve added new features such as Backup to S3 (B2S3) and Zadara Container Services (ZCS). We have increased our drive capacities helping customers scale to even larger installations, and we have added countless other features providing an improved overall user experience. We are also working to launch another significant feature in Q1 of 2016 – stay tuned! On top of these enterprise-grade features, we’ve also increased our technology certifications with companies such as VMware.
On the non-technical end, we participated in over 40 industry events, increased our online presence, gained new customers and partnerships while creating key business relationships. We’ve also been honored with over ten industry awards recognizing Zadara for product innovation and market leadership.
Lastly, to stick to our business model, we’ve added people to our support and operations team to continue to ensure over-the-top customer satisfaction.
We’ve made great strides in 2015 and only look to continue and enhance these efforts in 2016. Reflecting on the year, there are many things that I am thankful for:
1. Our Customers
Our customers are what makes us who we are. Without them, we wouldn’t be here. We love nothing more than helping our customers achieve great success, and nothing makes us happier than hearing a positive response from one of our customers when we’ve helped solve a problem.
“We tripled our performance. This was 50% higher than our goal.” – Lawter
“We chose Zadara because they fit our requirements, not the other way around.” – Cal Poly
“We moved from a storage solution that was hindering growth, to one that is enabling growth.” – Gilt
2. Our Partners
Like our customers, our partners shape our company. They help us grow each day while working together to provide a better world for the IT industry. We wouldn’t be where we are today without them and look to improve our Partner Program even more in 2016.
“We needed a partner who could provide a world-class storage-as-a-service solution. Zadara was the only company that provided enterprise-grade storage in a pay-as-you go model.” – Zunesis
“Solutions like those demonstrated by Zadara Storage are testaments to the speed of innovation within the storage arena and the storage ecosystem’s progress in the delivery of software defined infrastructure.” – Intel
“We chose Zadara Storage as our partner because their solution is a pure OpEx, fully elastic, enterprise-grade storage as a service, and Zadara has localized it for Korean users. The result is that customers in Korea now have access to the best of both worlds in terms of storage capabilities and flexibility.” – EbizTech
3. Company Growth
As I mentioned above, we’ve expanded our team both nationally and internationally and in many departments. It’s amazing to see the growth Zadara has had over the last four years, and I’m very excited as I anticipate that to increase even more in 2016. Not only that, but the leadership of those who’ve been here helping the new hires has been incredible to watch. Zadara is a true team effort across all departments which I am very proud of.
4. Awards & Recognition
One of the best parts about being successful is being recognized for it. This year, Zadara has taken home many awards in different aspects of the business. Earlier this year we were announced a Red Herring Top 100 National winner and in November it was announced that we were a Red Herring Top 100 Global winner. More recently, we were awarded by IT Brand Pulse who surveyed many IT professionals in four major categories for on-premise as a service: Market Leader, Innovation Leader, Price Leader, and Performance Leader.
Other awards this year include: CRN Emerging Vendors, Cloud Computing Backup and Disaster Recovery, Tech in Motion – Timmy Award, Frost & Sullivan Innovation Leadership Award, Dell Founders 50, UK Cloud Storage Product of the Year, and EMA Vendor to Watch
5. You
Lastly, I am thankful for you, whether you are a customer, partner, a potential customer/partner or just love reading our blog.
Looking forward to a happy, healthy, and successful 2016. Cheers.
